Hi, I'm Connor. I'm a Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation team at Acuity Law.

We utilised TrialView using a high value, multi-track case that we had in the High Court. We had the trial listed and it was heard in April of this year. It was a 10-day long trial and we utilised TrialView’s software to assist us with preparing the bundles, but also during the actual trial itself.

Going back to the more traditional ways of how we used to create bundles, it was a very long and time-consuming exercise, using traditional PDF platforms. But what we've noticed using TrialView is that it cuts the time dramatically in terms of preparation. All you need to have is the documents that you want within that bundle and then to drop it into that platform and have the features organise it for you - the pagination. Long gone are the days being at the printer, manually stamping page numbers onto the documents!

It's dramatically changed how quick we are able to pull together bundles and also amend bundles as well. Which is, I think, one of the key features of TrialView, is the ability just to add things in last minute or update it.

I found the platform easy to use because it's quite user friendly. And also if we had any niggles that the TrialView support team were on hand to help us out.

I'd recommend TrialView to other teams because the more law firms that use it, the more collaborative it will become. The fact that the law firms on this case in question (we had two other law firms, one based in Bristol and one in London) were able to access the TrialView platform during the case. They also were able to use the features in terms of searching for documents and commenting on anything that needed to be added.

So I would recommend that if law firms can get on board with utilising this form of software, it'll only make everyone's lives easier, especially in sort of running a case from start to finish.

I think if you have this platform from the start of a case, when documents are starting to be collected from your client, you know that they're saved in there. And then ultimately, when you come to preparing your bundle, it's all there ready for you. And it is a matter of a click of a button.
